How to Test Your Personal Alarm

Like any other electronic device, it is important to conduct regular checks on your personal alarm to ensure that it is working properly. We encourage our customers to conduct health checks once a month. This short article will guide you through the alarm’s health check in four easy steps.

Step 1. Check the green light.

  • Check that the green light on your alarm is flashing once quickly every 3 seconds. This indicates that you have a connection to the mobile network.

Step 2. Have someone call your alarm.

  • Ask a relative or friend to call your alarm, and verify that you can answer in hands-free, two-way voice mode.

Step 3. Press the SOS/Heart button.

  • Press or click the SOS/Heart button until you hear the voice prompt. Press the middle SOS/Heart button again to cancel the emergency call and text sequence.
